The workshops of the “Zarya” Chemical Equipment Plant in Dzerzhinsk are furnished with all the necessary welding, boiler, metal-working, pressing, furnace, painting equipment, accessories and tools.
There is a number of special equipment units which helps to eliminate manual labour when flanging housings and jackets, roll forging shells and pipes, joining annular seams of process vessels.
Over the past few years, we have significantly updated the welding equipment fleet, purchased equipment for assembling annular seams of process vessels, equipment for bending profiles and pipes, CNC machines for roll forging sheets and pipes, CNC metal-cutting equipment.
As our production facilities are mobile, modern and technologically equipped, we can feel confident about the future.
Modern welding and assembly equipment from RONNIEWELL was put in operation at the plant.
The welding equipment complex consists of two machines: the machine for welding longitudinal seams of shells and the machine for assembly and welding of annular seams in shells of the Fit-Up system casings. The complex is equipped with NA3 welding tips from LINCOLN ELECTRIC, intended for welding carbon, low-alloy and high-alloy steels.
These tips allow for welding steel sheets up to 20 mm thick without chamfering, using welding current up to 1200 A, flux core welding is performed with a 2.4-5 mm wire.
The bench allows for assembly and automatic welding of casings from 800 to 4,000 mm in diameter.
The assembly and welding complex uses rail-guided carts, motorized and driveless. Shells are assembled into a casing in a sequence, shifting the assembled block along rails, without using a crane and without feeding the next shell to the integration bench by a crane. The assembly process is repeated until the casing is complete. When joining shells, the integration bench with independent hydraulic metal rolls is used for aligning edges and adjusting height.
The bench is controlled by one operator and with minimum use of lifting mechanisms. Using this equipment in production allows for increasing productivity and, which is most important, the quality of products manufactured.
