The workshops of the “Zarya” Chemical Equipment Plant in Dzerzhinsk are furnished with all the necessary welding, boiler, metal-working, pressing, furnace, painting equipment, accessories and tools.
There is a number of special equipment units which helps to eliminate manual labour when flanging housings and jackets, roll forging shells and pipes, joining annular seams of process vessels.
Over the past few years, we have significantly updated the welding equipment fleet, purchased equipment for assembling annular seams of process vessels, equipment for bending profiles and pipes, CNC machines for roll forging sheets and pipes, CNC metal-cutting equipment.
As our production facilities are mobile, modern and technologically equipped, we can feel confident about the future.
From the very first day of the enterprise foundation, we have been using a manned shot blasting chamber in our production. In the chamber, we perform shot blasting of elliptical, spherical bottoms and units of vessels with dimensions of 4,000 x 7,000 x 4,000 mm. Shot blasting treatment capacity is 5-10 m²/hour.
Treatment roughness is monitored using roughness references.
Also, JSC “Zarya” Chemical Equipment Plant is extensively implementing new progressive technologies — we started using an HSP-20 dust-free cleaning unit from CLEMCO (Germany). HSP-20 unit is a combination of a sand blasting machine, regenerating unit, blast media accumulator and dust collector with a vacuum cleaner. Abrasive steel shot, slag, glass beads, aluminium oxide and other materials with maximum grain size of 0.8 mm are used as blast media. Unit capacity is 20 l, cleaning width — up to 40 mm. The unit can be freely transported to the working site. The only limitations are the length of the air hose supplying the unit with compressed air and the electric cable.
When used, this unit solves the problem of dust removal when performing abrasive blasting on the surfaces of products, and allows for carrying out work right in the workshop, without using a shot blasting chamber. Along with dust removal, the unit cleans the blast media from contaminations and loads it into the sand blasting chamber. This allows for saving sufficient amounts of the blast media and prevents it from getting into the air.
