DEVICES WITH MIXERS

Vertical devices with mixers are designed to carry out various processes in liquid single-phase and multiphase media with dynamic viscosity not exceeding 50 P (5 Pa*s), density up to 2,000 kg/m3. The working medium inside the device body is a neutral, aggressive, inflammable, explosive or toxic liquid, emulsion, gas-liquid mixture or suspension with a solid phase mass concentration not exceeding 30%. The jacket and the coil contain tap or recirculated water, brine, condensate, saturated water vapour or a high-temperature organic coolant with a temperature from -30 to +250oC.

At ambient temperatures below 0oC, it is necessary to take measures to prevent the cooling and makeup liquid from freezing in the shaft sealing. At ambient temperatures below -30oC, but not below -40oC, it is necessary to take measures to prevent cooling down of the body wall, which is under excess pressure or vacuum, to a temperature below -30oC.

It is allowed to install devices in areas with seismicity not exceeding 6 on the Richter scale, provided that the device is fixed to the foundation. The working excess pressure in smooth welded jackets shall not exceed 0.4 MPa, in the split pipe jacket and outer coil on the bottom — shall not exceed 1.6 MPa. The sealing surface of the flanges on devices equipped with gland seals is smooth, on devices equipped with face seals — tongue-and-groove. Gland seals are used in devices designed for non-toxic and non-explosive media operating at atmospheric pressure, excess pressure up to 0.6 MPa or under vacuum with residual pressure of at least 300 mmHg. It is allowed to use gland seals for toxic media, provided that the concentration of toxic substances in the saturated vapours above the liquid surface inside the device under operating conditions does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration for a working area in accordance with the relevant sanitary regulations. Face seals are used in devices designed for toxic, fire hazardous, explosive media, regardless of the pressure inside the device, as well as in devices operating under vacuum with a residual pressure below 300 mmHg, regardless of the working medium properties.

The devices are equipped with open and frame turbine mixers. The supply voltage of the electric driving motors is 380 V, current frequency is 50 Hz
